My design style is human centric, meaning the occupants are considered just as much as the building itself. Architectural design is enhanced with appropriate specification of modern, high quality fittings.

Comfortable spaces are created using well-considered, complementary light sources to add layers of visual interest.

As well as design, assistance can be provided with source and supply of fittings.

SERVICES

ESSENTIALS PACKAGE $1560+GST

Perfect for smaller builds/renovations where site visits and multiple revisions may not be required.

What is included?

-INITIAL CONCEPT

Concept lighting design prepared on architectural building plans supplied.

-CONCEPT CONSULTATION

We make time to review the concept design together. This can be in person locally or remotely via video call.

-LIGHTING DESIGN

Lighting design is delivered via email as a PDF document. This page shows the proposed lighting layout with revisions included from our consultation. A simple legend is included on each page to help understand placement for review eg. pendant, recessed downlight, LED strip. Suggested control circuits are marked. Notes included to consider, such as sensors/dimming/lighting in joinery.

-SPECIFICATION SCHEDULE

Specification schedule is also delivered via email as a PDF document. This table includes more detailed technical information of each product specified for reference. It shows what each symbols from the design correlates to- images of the fittings, descriptions, luminaire codes, cutout sizes or mounting details, quantities, remote driver specifications and decorative lighting recommendations.

-REVISION

After reviewing the completed design and schedule, you may request one more complementary revision if necessary.

-QUOTE

Quote to supply if required.

STANDARD ARCHITECTURAL PACKAGE $2280+GST

Recommended to architectural new builds/renovations.

Worthwhile when the project requires a site visit and more flexibility to make changes.

What is included:

-Everything from the ESSENTIALS PACKAGE

-SITE VISIT*

Normally the best time for this walkthrough is at framing stage, when the roof is on but no internal linings. While on site, specifications and positioning can be properly checked before placing any orders. Physically seeing the site can help both with creative ideas and also counter any changes/issues that may be unforeseen on the plans.

-LIGHTING DESIGN

Lighting design document updated with revision after site visit.

-SPECIFICATION SCHEDULE

Specification schedule document updated with revision after site visit.

-QUOTE

Updated quote to supply if required.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES $120+GST HOURLY

Including but not limited to:

-Extra site visits

-Extra revisions

-Electrical switching plan layouts

-Site measures

-Liasing with other designers or trades on the project

-Concept recommendation presentations

-Secondary stage designs, eg. landscaping or secondary dwelling

-Preparing extra documents such as lux calculations

-Arranging light customisation

-Casual lighting consultation or peer review rate where full design service is not required.

**Travel at 95c per km outside of Tauranga region.

A3 PRINTED SITE FOLDER $350+GST

A3 Folder based on final revision. This contains comprehensive information for a smoother process for all trades on site. Colour printed Lighting Design and Specification Schedule documents. Spec sheets for all luminaires and drivers. Supplier installation instruction sheets and any other project specific relevant information that can help streamline and save time and stress.
